These are super cute! And they do provide slow watering for a day or two. Very happy with this purchase.

Not only are these designed as adorable owls, but they work! They're great for plants that have to remain moist and hydrated. I found that they're perfect for my venus flytraps, which die if they dry out. These were an easy, cheap way to prevent that.

I am quite happy with these watering devices. I've ordered other terracotta ones in the past that broke during shipping; these were packed extremely well and arrived unscathed. I learned from prior experience to first dig a hole in the plant and THEN place the watering device - if you try to use these to make the hole, they might break. Honestly even if I didn't use these for watering, they're so cute I'd want them in my plants anyway. But they are my backup plan for keeping the plants watered when I travel, and they seem to work fine. I say "seem" because I'm hardly a green thumb and the fact that my plants are still alive at all is a miracle! I'm grateful to these cute devices for facilitating that miracle.
