These Bungee Cords with Hooks will get the job done securing tarps against the weather elements. The easy to use clips will make sure the tarp doesn’t loosen up from the winds. The only negative was opening a new item to find out that I was missing four clamps out of a secured box.

At the time of reviewing these cost a tenner, but there is a 10% discount voucher available (Feb 21, 2025) bringing the cost down to nine quid - which is good value for money. The slide-ratchet on the tarp clips is my reason for docking a star. Not all of them want to engage where you want them, but most do do their job of holding a tarp, regardless. At 90p per loop/hook and clip, despite any concerns re the slide-ratchet, these are decent enough for home gazebos or DIY store strap-down trips.

This set of tarp clips and bungee cords offers a practical and versatile solution for securing tarps, tents, and other outdoor covers. The clips provide a strong grip on fabric, distributing tension over a wider area to prevent tearing, making them especially useful in windy conditions. The bungees are flexible and well-made, offering a secure hold for a variety of applications, from camping setups to securing equipment. The kit arrives in a compact, letterbox-friendly package, and while assembly is required, the setup process is straightforward. There are some inconsistencies in the product photos regarding usage, but once figured out, both the clips and bungees perform well. The bungees have a good stretch, though in some cases, they may be longer than needed, requiring adjustment.During testing in strong winds, the clips remained securely fastened, and the bungees showed no signs of wear or snapping, proving their durability. However, the hooks may be too large for certain peg types, which might require additional modifications like using cable ties.Overall, this is a well-made and affordable kit with many potential uses for outdoor and storage needs. A solid purchase for anyone needing reliable tarp fastenings.

Tarp bungee clips as sold by BINCKINTen sets of black plastic clips with attachable bungee cords.I find these very useful for camping, DIY projects and emergency repairs. They easily attach to tarpaulins, polythene sheeting or any material up to 5 mm thick. Once clamped they are very tight and the tension can easily be adjusted.Being plastic they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.My only negative is the small 4mm hook at the ends. They are as advertised but it would be more practical to be bigger or be supplied with a carabiner. They do fit over the bungee cords.Overall a very good product and well worth the price tag of under a pound each.I will continue using them and I can recommend them.By the way, congratulations to BINCKIN for creating the smallest Instruction Manual I have ever seen. Amazingly it’s basically one side of a business card.

I ordered this 20 piece Set of Tarp Clips and Bungee Cords from the Amazon brand BINCKIN. I'm happy to recommend. The set comprises ten tarp clips, and ten bungee cords. I haven't tried them to gether yet, but I have tried the seperately. First off, the tarp clips, I have a cheapish four man wigwam (tent) which is missing some of its guy ropes. THe guy ropes are supposed to be attacked to a sort of flap near the top of the wigwam. Last year we did use the wigwam by improvising using bungees (through the hole) and them the guy ropes. However I tried the tarp clip on the fabric to hold the (non elastic) guy ropes, and they are a better option. They pull on the fabric across a larger area, holding it tight, meainging it is much leass likely to rip in strong winds etc. Especially if you use several, not just in the one hole taking all of the pressure in one spot.Of course the tarp hooks are great for tarps which dont ahve any eyelets at all, meaning you can adapt the size or cut to fit the space you have,, again making it more likely to stay taut in storms etc.I haven't had tarp hooks before, these are that very strong stort of greasy-feeling black plastic, good quality; the moving parts appear to work without resistance and hold strong when fastened. The bungees, I got to add to a set of these I already own, I find dozens of uses for them, but of course they come into their own when packing and camping, keeping unruly cables together, and many more as yet undiscovered uses. I've now got two of these keeping a yoga mat rolled up, as I lost the original elastic bands. Not a very glamorous purchase but one for which I will find endless uses.Five stars.

First off all though I ordered 20 pieces Tarp Clips and Bungees, it's only 10 of each (making the 20 pieces).I tried these last night while storm Eowyn was "due" to rip through my town with 60 mph winds and set my tarp up using only these clips & bungees and a regular walking pole with 8" pegs. I'm gonna admit I was planning to sleep in my tarp tent, but chickened out at the last minute (I was sure it'd get ripped off during the night).I checked this morning and all the clips were still attached and none of the bungees had snapped, although a couple of the pegs had loosened in the night my shelter had survived. So for a '10 piece kit' it'd be 5 stars, the description of what I ordered does say "20 clips + 20 bungees", so I think I got sent the wrong pack maybe? If you are going to order, just double check the description again as the "20 clips + 20 bungees" is £16 and a bargain, the 10 + 10 is less value for money at a tenner.Having received this for free for review purposes I don't feel I have the right to complain too much about pricing and both the clips and bungees held up well to last nights storm.
