This type of seat is recommended for playing guitar with less body tension. I found I needed a bit more height to get my knee joint at a 45 degree angle. It feels very comfortable. Its came with no instructions but it was easy basic assembly. However, it does not fold. The only way to break this down is to unscrew the leg bracket and constant unscrewing could be problematic later. If you want a nice compact sitting bench at a good price, this one does the trick.
