I have an oddball industrial angle grinder from Japan I got at a auction, and was hoping one of these 135mm guards from the Popbee Store would fit, but no joy. Still, I have several other angle grinders that these do fit, and I'm sure they will come in handy sooner or later. I like the clamps, and that the metal is heavy.

I received this to try on my angle grinders. All the grinders I tried them on are listed as 4.5" grinders.The unit itself is well made. The mechanism pivots easily and smoothly. The metal is a heavy gauge and seems to be adequately painted.This was a perfect replacement for my Bauer 7amp grinder. I would say it was an upgrade.This did not come close to fitting on my Dewalt DWE4120. That grinder uses a very easy to adjust toothed system and this replacement could not integrate with it nor was there a collar deep enough to allow it to hold.This did not fit my Hercules 11amp either. the clamp was too thick .This did not fit my Hitachi as it sat too proud and would not clamp well at all.All told, it is a quality guard but did not fit 75% of my grinders. I will keep it in place of the Bauer guard however as it is an improvement.

This is an aftermarket wheel guard that fits most angle grinders.Accommodates 5" and under cutoff and depressed center grinding wheels.A cam lever locking system makes it easier to change position than bolt and nut tightening systems.

I like these for upgrading to be able to use a guard with 5" discs and have a latch for easy adjusting the guard.

The Grinder Guard fits both of my 4.5" angle grinders just fine (my Bosch and my HitachiMetabo). See the attached pics. My Bosch grinder lost its guard deep in it's creatively used past so this filled that void. The "quick release" lever clamp of this guard does take up a little bit more space than the traditional screw clamp of most guards that come original, so consider that in your decision. The included gloves are just a complete waste of energy - I am not even sure I don't drop those straight into the trash can. The guard is staying on my grinder.Please let me know if this is "Helpful". Cheers !!

I have three angle grinders. A 4 inch, 4.5 inch and 7 inch. This tool will not fit on any of them. My husband has two grinders, both 4.5 inch. It will not fit his either.We have enlarged the opening in the section of the plate that connects to the grinder and now the tool can be attached to the grinder, but the position of the blade only allows a small, less than 1/4 inch, of a standard thickness porcelain tile to be beveled.We are going to try making a sort of washer, which will need to be about 1/4 (or maybe less) of an inch between the grinder itself and the tool, which should be enough to make this work. Of course, first we need to figure out what we can use as a non compressible washer, I'm thinking of trying a piece of 1/4 inch plywood scrap material, and will also need longer bolts.I know it would be very difficult to try to make an accessory that could fit every brand of angle grinder out there, but I would be much happier if this had just worked from the beginning.From the sample I have cut, it looks like the design concept will work. I'll report back later.
