Rocker Arms & Hydraulic Tappet are not well known for people but they are very important component of the internal combustion engine.

  • Optimized Performance

The Rocker Arm & Hydraulic Tappet that is intact and free from wear contributes to excellent horsepower and acceleration, preventing valve train noise and unnecessary valve train component wear.

  • Installation Notes:

  1. Hydraulic tappets must be kept highly clean during installation , the engine oil should also meet the corresponding cleanliness;
  2. The outer surface of the hydraulic tappet should not be damaged during installation;
  3. Before installing the hydraulic tappet, it should be diffused into the oil.
  4. If you have no installation experience, it is recommended to seek the help of professional maintenance personnel or watch the installation video.

What's the Hydraulic Tappet & How Does It Work?

  • A Hydraulic Tappet, also known as valve lifter or hydraulic lash adjuster, is a device for maintaining zero valve clearance in an internal combustion engine.Hydraulic Tappet keeps the valve healthy and protects from an engine's normal thermal expansion process.
  • The hydraulic lifter was designed to allow the valve train to operate with zero clearance—leading to quieter operation, longer affect the life of the engine, and eliminating the need for periodic adjustment of valve clearance.
  • Replace Your Bad Hydraulic Tappets On Time.

What's the Rocker arms & How Does It Work?

  • Rocker arms are reciprocating lever used in an internal combustion engine. They are typically located between the intake and exhaust valves and pushrods which are connected with crankshaft below the engine.
  • When the crankshaft rotates it cause up and down movement of the pushrods, then the pushrods pushed and pulled the rocker arm to rock up and down which cause opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves. Then power can flow from the combustion chamber of engine through various parts to the wheels to put the vehicle in motion.
  • The broken and loose rocker arm cause poor performance of the engine, the engine will be enable to take the full load of the vehicle and in severe cases engine failed to start.

I was having major power loss issues with my vehicle and ticking from my lifters. When I took out the old ones I was literally in shock they were completely rebuilt and looked like crap that was from an engine that I purchased rebuilt from one of the O'Reilly's stores.I was blown away by the power I was missing I replaced all 16 and the fact that it was easy to put them in and take them out I would have done it a long time ago had I known that that was my power loss just be worried all you guys and do it yourself first if you purchase anything for your vehicle that's coming from a second party and not an original part chances are they cut corners. These lifters were pristine they popped right in after I soak them in oil overnight and my truck just came to life it was just I'm still in awe I'm getting back my power.
