Solid cage easy instructions. My 13 yr.old assembled herself for her pet rats .We did add some things to bottom of cage so they weren't walking on the wire bottom . We use puppy pads instead of shavings in the catch tray for easy clean up & no shavings on the floor .

So I got this cuz of the ramps (Beautiful cage came perfectly in shipment) my mother helped put it together. But sadly the bottom for said cage is to slippery for my almost 4 yr old male who can hardly use his back legs... I may modify this for ferrets or Atleast a bird or two but it worked just not for my seniors (3 and 4ish respectively) if the bar gaps on the pull out weren't so slippy and widely spaced I'm sure they'd have loved it oh but seriously ZIP TIE THE BOTTOM I moved this cage on its roller and I nearly died xDD

Bought this for my daughter to use for her pet rats. The cage is perfect. She’s 16 and assembled it herself, so I’m gonna say it’s easy enough to put together. All parts were there and nothing was broken.

This cage is more than well worth the money. I did read some reviews and the common complaints were sturdiness and ease of assembly. This was incredibly easy to put together, literally took me about 45 minutes. I recommend lining all the parts up in numerical order and going from there. With regards to sturdiness and the need for zip ties??? The ties are not necessary, the cage is sturdy and our New Guinea pig is loving it. I highly recommend this cage!
