Fan speed and mode switch failed within 2 hours of install. Heater now stuck in exterior vent mode.

Fan speeds seem to work fine, can't speak of the AC as I deleted mine. However I bought this unit as I had an issue with the heat always being on. Would literally melt your b***s off. Heat never feels more than lukewarm now. Original unit is back in as its winter and its blowing hot as ever now.
