Excellent front end service kit! Just used it yesterday to painlessly separate front lower ball joints and tie rod ends on my Cherokee.I’ve always used a pickle fork in the past, but you risk destroying what you’re working on. This kit eliminates that issue and is much safer.Quality is great.

My Toyota prius had the original tie rods and to make matters worse, was from 2006! This meant that the tie rods, after finally giving out in the 150k miles of life, would also not budge on removal. I tried hammers, heat, just about everything with no avail. Then this kit had the exact ball joint compressor function for the job. With my ratchet, I hand tightened the tool and after about 7 full turns at max tightness, the ball joint nearly exploded with a direct down motion from the force applied. It worked! Be safe and wear protective eyewear, handwear, helmet if your dealing with a similar job.

I needed to replace upper and lower ball joints on my 03 envoy 4x4 and the actual ball joint remover press wasn't working well so I figured we'd give this set a try. The claw worked like a charm and made removing the upper ball joint so easy! We were both impressed with. It was way smaller compared to the press so made gettingnit where it needed to be so much simpler. We didn't even attempt to use the press on the other side once we knew how easy this set made it for us. I recommend for the once in a while car owner who works on their own stuff, but don't feel that it would hold up for an everyday mechanic that would need to use it many times a week. Overall, I am pleased and happy to have it. Great value for the variety you get.

The build quality is as good as big nameBrand front end Kits. It fits almost all tie Rods, center links, ball joints and pitman arms. I used for my two 1970 Oldsmobiles as I had to chance the pitman arm after new steering box install and it worked perfect. Attach to the pitman arm an either use a pneumatic air tool or electric impact or hand wrench and the pitman arm with come right off the splines. Being they have a notch they only go on one way so super easy to do your own work.The weight of the kit is heavy enough to know it’s quality and light enough to fit in most quality tool boxes like my Milwaukee. Excellent value and I’mVery happy with this prod it. Will come super handy when I rebuild the entire front on on my olds 442. Glad I have it.
