I recently picked up a 58mm 1000ND filter, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my photography gear! This filter has really improved my ability to shoot in bright conditions, allowing for longer exposure times without overexposing my images. The quality is impressive; I’ve noticed minimal color distortion, which is a huge plus for maintaining the integrity of my shots. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to attach and remove, and it doesn’t add much weight to my lens. It’s been perfect for landscape photography, giving me the flexibility to capture stunning effects in bright sunlight. Overall, this 1000ND filter has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their photography experience!

This 72mm ND1000 Filter ND Filter is a quite inexpensive filter, definitely on the low end of the range of filters I have tried, and I do not have any truly high end filters. For that reason, I had very low expectations when I ordered this filter. However, the filter has exceeded my expectations. The filter is advertised as using German glasl, having 30 layer coating, and being water and scratch resistant. I cannot verify all of that, but the glass is coated and delivers overall very good performance. Photos I took were clear and sharp, with no serious visual distortion or vignetting. I did notice some color cast, but it was not significantly worse than more expensive ND filters I have tried. The frame is aluminum and threads and unthreads on my lenses easily and without any binding or sticking. This is clearly not a high end filter, and I am sure that minor differences would show up between the photos taken with this and those taken with a high end, expensive filter. Anyone who wants or needs a filter that is absolutely the best available would not be happy with this filter. On the other hand, most amateur photographers do not need and can't afford the best filters available; for them, this filter will likely be all they need. I take away one star because of the slight color cast, but I nevertheless recommend this filter for most amateur photographers based on its combination of overall good performance and an excellent price.

This is an inexpensive neutral density filter rated at 10 stops. For whatever reason, the Amazon ad says it comes as a "6 pack", which is incorrect. Your $19 buys you one ND filter, and even at that, it is a relatively inexpensive filter.Regarding color cast, the majority of the pictures I took had a cool (more blue than I'd expect) tone compared to identical shots without the filter. I haven't noticed this as much with more expensive filters, but if results are unacceptable, they can be corrected in post.I saw no vignetting.I'm not sure what to say about image quality. I don't think any of the pictures I took were as sharp as those taken without the filter, but I simply looked at full-screen pictures and did not pixel peep. A few of the pictures were significantly out of focus, but this was not across the board, and I don't know whether to blame it on the filter (in which case all photos should have been unfocused) or whether the camera's autofocus had a problem with darkening caused by the filter. In summary, I think this is a good filter at this price, but I do not think it compares with more expensive glass ND filters.

As a photographer who often works with a medium format camera, finding the right tools to enhance image quality is crucial. I recently added this ND100000 filter to my kit, and it has truly impressed me with its performance.Firstly, the ND100000 rating, blocking light at an impressive 16.5 stops, allows for capturing stunning long exposure shots even in the brightest of conditions. This filter has become a must-have in my kit, particularly for landscape photography where controlling light is paramount. The use of German HD glass in this filter is evident in the clarity of the images it produces. There's no color deviation, ensuring that the true essence of the scene is preserved without any unwanted tinting. This quality glass also maintains the integrity of light transmission, resulting in images with exceptional detail and sharpness. If you've ever used a quality filter for your lens, it's probably been made in Germany. The best there is!What sets this filter apart is its promise of zero color cast. As someone who values accurate color reproduction in my photography, this feature is invaluable. It allows me to maintain strict standards for shooting results while unleashing my creativity without worrying about color distortion. The double-sided, 30-layer coating further enhances the functionality of this filter. Not only does it protect the glass from scratches, water, and oil, but it also minimizes reflections, lens flare, and ghosting. This ensures that my images are free from unwanted artifacts, even when shooting in challenging lighting conditions. The ultra-thin frame is a thoughtful addition, especially when using wide-angle lenses. The slim profile minimizes dark corners, preserving the integrity of the composition. Additionally, the matte black finish of the aviation aluminum frame reduces reflected light, further enhancing image quality. This filter has become an essential tool in my photography arsenal. Its impressive light-blocking capabilities, coupled with the premium materials and thoughtful design, make it a standout choice for photographers who demand the best from their equipment. If you're serious about achieving high-quality, color-accurate images, I highly recommend giving this filter a try.

Did what it was supposed to do while recording the total eclipse here in the Midwestern US this year. Good quality image of direct shot of the sun while moon passed in front.

Considering this is a budget filter it's flaws and limitations are acceptable and most things can be fixed in editing - namely the cool cast it gives most photos. It does sometimes "confuse" the autofocus so you might need to adjust for that. It's got a quality feel to the build, however, and is a pretty decent budget filter.
