Fit perfectly, easy install, turned on gas,hit primer 2 times started up and ran fine. I’ve not had a lot of luck with these Chinese carbs, but this one works just as it should.

Other than one little plastic pipe reducer that was broken and the seal that seemed cheaper than the original one, everything works great. Exact fit for my snowblower.

Best item I've ever bought on Amazon. Perfect fit. Worked like a charm. Replaced carborator that I could have cleaned. But this was worth every penny. Came with gas shut valve, all nobes, tube, clamps, and spark plug! Complete tune up at a fraction of the cost of taking it to a repaired shop. Took less than 20 minutes.

There are numerous providers I could have bought this replacemen carburetor from, but I bought this particular one for a single, important reason: The nipple to attach the fuel line was almost horizontal, which is the way the OEM carburetor was aligned. For some reason, most companies supplying a replacement for this carburetor have the nipple pointing at a downward angle, which is a problem, as it can lead to a kink in the fuel line, and the throttle linkage can bind on the re-routed fuel line.

For $15, it's a great value just for the carb alone, as it's way less trouble and time than cleaning out and tuning a very old one. Also used the primer bulb and gasket, which was nice. However, the primer tube was far too short to use, and the spark plug isn't at all the right size/type for the Tecumseh engine this carb is on. Would have been nicer with the right spark plug, a replacement fuel line, and a primer tube of the right size, but for the price, no complaints.

Carb is well made and exactly as pictured. As recommended by another reviewer, I took the bowl off before installing to double check things. The bowl bolt/main jet was loose and the needle was not connected to the float because the float tab was so bent it just slid off. Adjusted this, reassembled and installed, it was a perfect fit on a 2000 model MTD 5HP snowblower.However, the supplied fuel shutoff valve leaked a little when in the off position and poured out around the red knob when turned on. Took that POS off and rigged up the fuel line enough to test the carb. The engine started on the first pull. Ran just like it was new, a little lean but it has always been like that since I bought it brand new. Probably could remove the plastic plug over the high speed jet and adjust but haven't done that.Did not use the primer or supplied primer tube as I already had that existing. The supplied fuel line hose clamps fit well but are not quite as tight of grip as the originals.
