Everyone should have these, or multiple. Battery life for jumper is good, easy to store, functions flawless

I was curious if these would work to jump a car/truck and I found that they do, but the first time I used them, the clamp broke apart. Im going to replace the clamps and keep the item, but I would look for a better built item next time.

Pros:* Seems like solid copper wire* Fit battery top well, no issues getting on/off the top of OEM batteries.Cons:* Fit for non oem batteries wasn't the best. Got stuck on more that one and was hard to remove.* Solid conductor was challenging to bend. Little bit worried about how it holds up over time. Will update after realizing how well it holds up under test with a low battery.

This jump-start adapter is a must-have for anyone with Milwaukee M18 tools. It’s compact, durable, and incredibly handy. The adapter snaps onto the M18 battery perfectly—secure and solid, with no worries about it coming loose while you’re using it.The cables are great quality, made with real copper for excellent conductivity, and the length is just right for easily reaching the car’s battery. The clamps feel sturdy and have heavy-duty springs, so they grip the terminals firmly without slipping. Everything about it feels thoughtfully designed and built to last.I’ve already used it to jump-start a car, and it worked flawlessly. It’s impressive how much power this little adapter delivers when paired with an M18 battery. If you’re already in the Milwaukee ecosystem, this is a no-brainer. It’s reliable, easy to use, and feels like a tool you can depend on. Highly recommend!UPDATE: After using this product on several vehicles, a flaw became noticeable. The plastic clamps used to hold the cables to the battery are a bit flimsy. There is little to prevent them from coming apart while under pressure. This is especially problematic when putting the clamps on a battery and removing them. I have been able to reattach the clamps to the other piece when they separate but I am not sure how many times I will be able to do this before the clamps are permanently broken. This does make using the unit a bit cumbersome as half the time I am using it the clamps explode in my hand. Luckily it has yet to pinch me but I would not be surprised if I end up getting snagged soon. I will update this review if the unit ever breaks for good.

I got this for emergency use since I have a lot of Milwaukee batteries lying around, but I'm hesitant about using it now. We have a new car with a lot of electronics. The battery voltage on all cars is only 12V (about 14V when fully charged). This thing is 18V (fully charged can be reached up to 20V). I would not want to risk causing any electrical damage that can end up in the thousands $ in repair. I think I'll just invest in a proper jump starter.
