I love how quickly I can sand my pottery with these pads. They don’t require a lot of force and make my stoneware “feet” s m o o t h.

I originally ordered these to smooth out some tile. However, I hurt my back and have been unable to do the work I needed to do so close to the floor. So, because the description says they work on all types of materials, I used them on some wood cutouts I made to fill a (no longer needed) mortise for a new door knob. I usually use the black sponge sanding pads but thought I'd use these so I could do the review. They worked really well, better than the black pads I usually use. I was able to round the edges of the wood and smooth out any burrs/imperfections. They are keepers.

I have found these work excellent on hardwoods also, but I put new clothes rods in our closet that were black pipe. Sanded them down to look good with an orbital sander, but still was not satisfied until I was able to use these sanding pads now it looks very polished, nice and clean look.
