With a total of 1 rating (which was 2 stars) and no reviews.. I took a chance and purchased these Fishing Rod Sleeves.. Turns out I made a good choice. Last year I bought one sleeve from the well known sporting goods store that was more $ than this pack of eight.. These are better in every way!!! They are very sturdy, slide on and off easily, and have a nice, strong, stretchable lanyard to keep them in place. They easily fit all my casting rods.. However only fit one of my spinning rods (7' Lews CF FireStick) ... They-- DO NOT-- fit over large 1st eyelet on my Shimano Zodias, Abu Garcia Vengeance, or my Abu Garcia Vendetta, Spinning Rods...But I knew that going in after reading the sellers description. In the attached pictures you can see it's a snug fit over 1st eyelet on FireStick spinning rod (black & white sleeve) But it does work... Being this is the first Amazon Review for these MITRIE Fishing Rod Sleeves I tried to give you all as much information on this product as I could.. I've only had these for a short while so I can't verify their durability, but they are very well made and I can see them lasting a very long time..
