Ok so they are what you want, and they are heavy-duty, I love that. But you will have to shorten the plastic end of the shoe lace and I burn the ends also so the do not come unraveled. Otherwise good in my book

Update a week later: These are not good for shoelaces tip replacement. They bang about and cause the laces to come untied. They are held together by friction only and are coming apart. I am not sure what I'll be able to do with 79 more pairs.Update a couple days later: These don't make practical shoelace tips. They are heavy enough that they cause the shoelaces to come untied. They may be practical for other things, like drawstrings on coats or duffel bags. Or making nunchucks.Original Review: These are too big to pass through shoe eyelets. Other than that, they are as advertised. Will work for jackets or backpacks. Am going to try them on some hiking boots that are laced up already. They feel too heavy, I suspect they will tend to undo the knot. I bought them so I wouldn't have to buy a crimping tool as with the smaller tips. I will be buying the smaller tips and the crimping tool.

These are not for normal sized shoe laces. They are at about 3 times bigger than they should be.
