Your cart is empty.Professional Products 7.5 Inch Damper for LS-1/LS-6 Corvette features dampers which are very similar to the 80032/90032 except they are shorter to fit the 1997-2007 Corvette. Because of this shorter length, this damper would be a good choice for engine transplants where front space is at a premium. However, this would also require the use of Corvette accessory brackets in order for the drive belts to line up. Although not required on a stock engine, these dampers have a keyway as well as a TDC timing mark with additional engraved marks every 90 degrees.

Not a job for the light hearted rack and pinion was a beast. Nice looking time will tell on reliability. I did put new water pump, new harmonic balancer, new belt, new tensioner, new coolant, new front main seal and bolt all at same time. I have a two post lift so it made it easier to do the torque and turn processAutozone tools dont 100% work with out modificationsAnd i built a tool to lock flywheel to prevent turning

This replacement part has worked great. I was not going to say upgrade but changed my mind it is a upgrade and am pleased with it.
