Been using the trunk lid opener for ages. This gave me a chance of not having to open the car just to open the lid. Very convenient for supermarket travels.

Used this for my B13 Sentra SE-R (1991-1994). You do need to re-use the black plastic spacer in addition to the black rubber gasket that comes with this lock. WIthout the spacer there will be a gap between the top of the keyhole and the hole in the plastic "tailgate". My spacer was broken up in pieces as I took it off the old one with an exacto knife. Carefully glue the pieces back together on the lock. I believe a locksmith may be able to set the tumblers to match the old one so I can still use the OEM key instead of having to carry two keys, one for doors/ignition and one for the trunk.
