It's hotter than any electric fence than I ever had. Found a dead bird at corner fence post just this morning weedeating. Love the remote control. I worry I might accidentally turn it on while working on fence. Keeps my goats in. Highly recommend .

This product worked great for 6 months and then completely died. At the price point I expected it to last longer.

Works well, packs a punch, will jump an arc about 1/4 inch. 4 stars because it runs down a normal size car battery in 3 days. If you’re going to use it on 12V, be sure you also invest in a 100 watt or better solar panel to keep up with it. Have not tried the 110 Volt option.

Good quality fencer. Kept the Deer out of the sweet corn patch. I have it ran off a 12 volt deep cycle battery with a 20watt solar trickle charger on it. It will keep it going for a few weeks eventually need to recharge the battery. Could’ve used a bigger charger I guess no fault of the charger tho. It will tell you when it’s getting low from the on board volt meter.

So I bought this as a backup charger to my very expensive model. I read all the reviews and the negative reviews seemed like they really had no reason to dislike the charger except for one which said it would not work. It is impossible to buy a name brand charger that puts out 9 joules and is DC powered for less than 500.00 I really bought it out of curiosity to test if it was possible to buy a charger for this price that would actually do what it claimed. It takes joules to keep a fence hot that has over growth on it and a 9 joule charger is pretty hot. I have a solar station set up just for the fence charger with a 50 watt panel, charge controller and 35AH battery. I hooked this charger up to a section that has not been cleared in a year! It has wild plums grown up in it as well as weeds on about 3/4 mile of it. I want to say if you have any growth on your fence that is where it will show if your ground system is adequate or not. I have 4 ground rods driven 8 ft into the ground 10 ft apart on this section. My Zareba fence tester pegged at 8k volts at the charger AND at the far end of the fence AFTER going through all the growth! I got another fence tester that will go much high in voltage and it tested 15.9k at the charger and 15k at the far end a mile away after going through all that growth! I really thought I would need to spend a day clearing that fence in order for that charger to work but no! It's a hoss!! I turned the stock out in that pasture with no issues, they want no part of this charger! We now just need to see how well it holds up! The third pic is the fence line with overgrowth. You can't even see the wire but even after all that it is 15k volts on far end!

This thing really works. We use it on 14 acres, fully fenced with 4 strand electro braid and our goats stay put, horses and dogs don't wanna go near it!

If you think this looks like a good fence charger, you are mistaken. Bought this to use for my pigs and it lasted about a month. Now the led display doesn’t work and it doesn’t have any output. Very cheap made, the pictures do NOT do justice. Can’t even get product support or a replacement… money down the drain…. Kinda sucks
