Super easy 5 minute install on a Polaris Sportsman 450 HD as long as you follow instructions. The back 2 bolts had to pull down on rack to align bolts but after tightening them down rack went into place. For the money a good buy.

Bought two of these for our sportsmans (2022 models). Tried following their instructions and think they aren't helpful.Doing it their way the first time, the pieces don't fit together easily so it simply didn't work the way they suggested. It is NOT a well machined part.I pulled the pieces apart. I then put screwed in the two forward pieces - not tight all the way. The reason I had to do this is the unit does NOT sit flat on the back. Leave room to rotate each of the forward pieces. Next, put the third piece in place. Then put the screws in that hold the three pieces together.Tighten the rear bolts down first. They are raised and this is the only way to get them flat on the plastic back. The front to pieces will adjust to handle this and tighten up nicely. Then tighten the bolts that hold the three pieces together.Last item, and a key reason I don't think they ever tried this themselves, the three different types of bolts all use a different bit head. They don't need to do that. Pick one and keep the customer from having to change out bits. Come on Polaris.Hope that helps. Have fun out there.

I had to do some grinding and drilling to install, but in the end it looks very good and my modifications were not noticeable. I was able to only use the stock bolts on my Polaris 450 and did not use any of the bolts provided. Keep all the bolts very loose until all were in place, then tightened them all. I used black RV silicone to cover my alterations and it now looks very good. Considering the price, I think it was a good deal but I realized once I started I was committed and only at the end was I sure of the outcome.

These parts for my atv are pricey guess bc they consider it a toy. Mine is a tool bought the guard too up front so I could protect the bike it didn't cone with the rack or guard only on front top it's manuf. Spec hope it lasts looks ok

unboxed it and found holes do not line up. Would have had to drill and grind to make it work. Sent it back
