About the plate heat exchanger
The plate heat exchanger is ideal for heat exchange between liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor. It has the characteristics of high heat exchange efficiency, slight heat loss, compact and light structure, small floor space, easy installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. Furthermore, under the same pressure loss, its heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of the tube heat exchanger, the floor space is one-third of that of the tube heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can be over 90%. Due to the smaller size and reduced material content, they can be the most economical heat transfer choice.

Why choose the brazed plate heat exchanger?
The plate heat exchanger is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchanger made of a series of metal sheets with specific corrugated shapes stacked on top of each other. A thin rectangular channel is formed between the various plates, and heat exchange is carried out through the plates. They feature corrugated plates that produce highly turbulent flow in a true counter-current direction.

Water-Glycol
The common antifreeze is based fluid made primarily from ethylene glycol or propylene glycol. Adding glycol to the water can lower the freezing point of water in the coolant mixture, thus preventing it from freezing inside the radiator, the water pump, and the hoses. Water-Oil

We installed the 20 plate exchanger on our hot water heater. Our wood boiler hearts the cold water supply line to the water heater providing us with an endless supply of hot water during the winter months.This addition has saved us significantly on our home electric bill and will pay for itself in just a couple of years.Well worth the investment.

I upgraded my heat exchanger to this boy, make sure you put enough Teflon on the threaded couplings to avoid any leaks. I used PEX pipe and sharkbite fittings for this applicationThis is my first time doing this project, plumber wanted to charge me $700 for this job wich I said no thanks.Water stays nice and hot around the houseOverall is doing what it's supposed to do.

Very good product, was very easy to install. NPT fittings sealed well with no leaks heats my domestic water extremely fast and efficiently. My only complaint would be that it did not come with mounting straps, I have PEX tubing that doesn’t support the weight of plate exchange without out it being mounted

Here in Texas our ground water come out of the tap at 68 F in the summertime. My wife asked for a “cold shower” button because she didn’t want to take up the space in our house with a cold plunge, but she read it helps with weight loss and depression. So I combined this with a beverage cooler, an aquarium chiller, an air switch and some aquarium pumps for instant cold shower. I wrapped this in pipe wrap insulation to keep cold losses down. Works great!

Je vous conseille du ptfe Téflon gris. Scellant à filet pour acier inox. Car même avec pipe dope, difficile à étancher les connections. Sinon transfert très bien la chaleur.

This thing took a licking on delivery, it was dinged up a bit. The packaging from the company saved it but the over sized box Amazon put it in caused a loose situation.. Not good. The exchanger however came through it just fine no leeks and heat's as it should.
