Works fine. Ugly though. And one corner arrived bent so it really messes w my otherwise lovely new bathroom.

This heater was exactly what we needed for our space, and was the right voltage etc. It works great now that it's installed.

Works well; the only issue is that the bottom legs were slightly bent inward and the label on the back of the can was scraped away by the heater a little bit due to how it is positioned with no cushioning in between. This may be a manufacturing / design issue, though.

These Cadet heaters fit into the wall between studs and look exactly like furnace vents. Either install before the drywall or cut a hole in the existing wall and drop into place. Instructions are included. In addition to the wiring and power supply, you will need a room thermostat that is rated for 110v or 220v, not a low voltage type. My house had 220v baseboard heaters in every room, and I replaced them all with these fan type heaters, about 15 years ago. Baseboard heaters were silent, but you can hear the fan working in these heaters. However, my wife and I both prefer the feel of the warmth from these heaters, and the electric bills seemed to decrease. We live in the northern Rockies with cold winters but stay warm inside.

We bought 3 of these to replace the ceiling heat in bedrooms of a house we are remodeling. We used an updated LED screen honeywell thermostat reaplcement. Overall the installation now looks clean and a lot more modern with this heater designed more like a standard house vent vs the older style cadet heaters. I installed all 3 in about 2 hours. We had power to the old thermostats already and just cut out the sheetrock as instructed, ran the wires down that cavity and into the heater. Very simple. The one negative is the leg mounts could be removeable and it would be a lot easier to get it into the wall for old work where sheetrock is already up. Otherwise, it was fine and the vent cover fits perfectly over the square you cut out. We will always be buying these now vs the old style cheaper cadets. Very much worth it.

This replaced 2 baseboard heaters in a rental. The tenant has told me it warms up the room faster than the old baseboard & the electric bill is a little lower than before. It seems to be well made-I liked the wall can is seperate from the heating unit-so it is simple to service if needed. It is not whisper quiet-the fan does makes some noise but it is not overly loud. I had a problem with one of the heaters not coming on the very first time I installed it but the seller sent a replacement unit very quickly. I used 2 in the main living room area-1 for each baseboard. The tenant is happy with them. Installation was straightforward but required some planning to make sure the existing electric wire was long enough. If you are not familair with retrofitting one of these heaters you probably want an electricians help. Thanks Cadet & Amazon!

I installed 3 of these in a basement remodel. I am driving all of them with a single thermostat and have adjusted them to match the heat requirements of each location. The ability to do this is great. Installation was very easy and they look clean. I went with these because I wanted to save the floorspace electric baseboard requires. * Update * Running for 10 years as sole source of heat. Kids placed a beanbag in front of one of them (don’t do this) and the safety switch kicked in. I have them hooked up to a nest thermostat using a power converter.
