I changed my water pump a while back and the fan clutch. It was not the right one. Brick and mortar, Online @ rock... all had the wrong one. Unfortunately, this one, not only was the correct one, it was way more expensive. If your fan clutch is whining all the time, it is the wrong one.My fuel economy is back to normal also.

Worked perfect on my 2004 silverado 5.3 4x4. Fixed the loud noise I was getting from the fan that wouldn't disengage. Highly recommend!

Had an aftermarket "heavy duty" fan clutch installed in Arizona. It was super noisy all the time and didnt affect cooling at all. Get this OEM GM ACdelco fan clutch its worth the extra cost. Alson pro tip: Use and air chisel totake the fan off the old clutch. It is by far the easiest method. I learned the hard way after struggling and looking up the air chisel method on youtube!

I replaced the original fan clutch on my 2000 GMC Sierra pickup with this. It was identical to the original part and works great. My truck engine temp would rise while sitting in drive thru lines. The fan wasn’t spinning fast enough to cool it down. Now it stays the right temp.

I replaced the Murray fan clutch I had bought from a big parts store because it was stuck in the engaged position and wouldn’t unlock. Mileage definitely went down and it was loud like many other reviews stated. Put this OEM GM clutch on and it works just like it should!. No noise, way better fuel mileage, and now that it’s cold the engine warms up a lot faster! Yes it’s more expensive but really not that bad. I paid about 100 bucks less off here than what I would have paid the local dealer. Lesson learned… go with OEM when it comes to major parts!!!

Works like an original and stopped my temperature problem. Direct fit and fixed my problem instantly, in my opinion good product. Very quiet while driving, very good item! Easy to install no problems at all! Would definitely recommend.

Exact fit, low noise easy to install. Factory original lasted 170,000 miles. I expect this one will last just as long. Noise at low speed is the same as factory. Don’t fool around with the aftermarket, good product, works as expected. A tip for removing the bad clutch, with an air hammer, bump the nut a few times and it breaks the nut loose very easily.

Bought this fan clutch about 3 1/2 years ago. Fit was good, replacement was easy. My only issue is that I would have expected an OEM part to last longer - this part has recently gone out and I'm having to replace again. If this was on a new vehicle and went out less than 4 years later that would be a problem.
