I got this unit for my 6.5 Diesel. Plus the acDelco 15-80690 Duramax composit fan blade. 6.5's are know for cooling issues,, with these 2 new parts,, my temps never see past 200F with 195 T-stats. On TheTruckStop.com there is a thread about modifying this clutch to kick in a tad sooner, to keep your rig cooler on those hot summer days while towing.

It fits; it works; after 6 months, it's still working like the original did for over a decade, so I have no reason to doubt this one will last just as long. And at a few bucks LESS than an aftermarket clutch would have cost me locally, it was certainly worth the few days' wait for free shipping.
