I have learned from experience that very few, if any of the aftermarket offerings for fan clutches for the 3FE will do the job. I once went through 6 different ones from different sources before I gave up and got an OEM coupler. The 2F is not as sensitive, but the 3FE needs a fan that matches the OEM unit exactly. This one does.

I know there is less expensive alternatives, but this unit is made in Japan and is worth the extra investment. It feels like the hydraulic system is built very well when rotated by hand and seems to be balanced properly. Runs quiet and doesn't vibrate. Looks and works perfect on my Toyota FJ40 2F engine.I also replaced the water pump with a GMB 17-1880 and found this to be a great combo for the price.
