Bought this as a replacement for the one I previously owned and lost on my ride from Texas to South Dakota. Great product. Easily adjustable. Great for really long rides, and even short rides. Would highly recommend this product.

I will start with what I don't like. I wanted something that is easily removable to pack away at stops. You can rest this on your seat without the included straps, but when mounting/dismounting the bike you have to be careful so that it doesn't slip off and touch your hot exhaust.Pros: The improved airflow is great for hot climates. It is embarrassing getting off of your scoot with a wet spot on your bum. This helps to mitigate that, like, alot! So far that is my main benefit. My wife has used it on the back of the bike and stated that she wouldn't have made the trip without stopping more. So, there is that. Worth it. I plan to give her this one and try a Saddlemen for a little more cushion.

I did a lot of research in my hunt for the best seat cushion for my 2015 Road Glide. I like going on long distance trips and already tried having my seat custom re-done by a pretty well known company in North Carolina. It was way better than stock, but it still killed me after several hours. Although many products kept popping up in my research, the Airhawk was consistently in the top three recommended products so I gave it a shot. It was delivered on a Tuesday and on that Wednesday I set off for a work conference in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I came back Saturday after 1,127 miles with the Airhawk. On Thursday I took off again for the U.P. and put on another 1,083 miles. Here are my impressions:Is it better than just a stock seat? Yes, in my opinion it was much better than the stock seat even after being customized. Having said that, there is a definite learning curve. A lot of the videos and reviews mention that the most common mistake people make is over filling it. I decided to barely inflate it at all and then stopped every so often and made adjustments. Sometimes I would add more and sometimes I would let a little out until I found my personal sweet spot.Is it comfortable? Yes. At first it feels a little weird because you are sitting on a bunch of interconnected air bladders that sort of inflate and deflate depending on how you move. One thing I liked was that if I ever started feeling a little sore I could shift my weight around on the seat and things would get better. Is it the sore-butt killing magic bullet we've all been looking for? No, I wouldn't go that far. I was certainly more comfortable and I felt less discomfort than I did without it, but I think that no matter what cushion you use and no matter what seat you buy, sooner or later you're going to get sore. My first leg of my first Airhawk ride was just over 300 miles. Toward the end I certainly felt a little sore. However, I also noticed that my discomfort wasn't constantly on my mind like it was before the Airhawk. I would notice it, wiggle around a little and then get distracted and forget about it until I realized I was uncomfortable again.Does air flow through it like they say it does? No, I don't think so. The advertising says that air flows through the spaces between the various air bladders and through the mesh covering keeping you nice and dry and free of "swamp butt." I honestly don't see how anything could flow anywhere between those air bladders, especially when you are told to use very little air and then you sit on them and pretty much squish them all together to the point nothing flows anywhere, at least not that I could tell. Overall though, this didn't bother me too much and it wasn't a big selling point for me anyway. Is it easy to install? Yes, but the mounting straps are chintzy AF. they look a lot like women's bra shoulder straps and use the exact same fastening and tightening system as bras do. It doesn't move around or anything, but for $100 I feel like they could come up with something better, especially something with the fastening hardware under the seat instead of on the sides of the Airhawk. It would take someone exactly 15 seconds to detach it from your bike and run off with it.Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you manage your expectations and realize that nothing will ever relieve you of all butt discomfort on a motorcycle seat 100%. You will eventually get uncomfortable on anything, even the plushest sofa seat, if you sit in it long enough. You also have to be patient if you go this route and you need to be willing to take the time to dial it in to your personal satisfaction.Overall I'm happy with it and think it performs as advertised. YMMV

I was skeptical about this thing when I heard about it because it seemed to good to be true but I figured thousands of good ratings all over the web couldn't all be wrong. This thing is an absolute miracle for my tailbone. For me it's not so much my sit bones or butt itself that gets sore, it my tailbone and after only about 2 hours on my stock victory cross country seat, it gets extremely painful. I bought a Mustang seat for my last bike and it helped a lot but thought I'd try a more economic solution this time around. I'm glad I did, this is a game changer! I just got back from a 6 day, 6-ish hour a day ride and my pain level went from what would have been around 8 or 9 at the end of each day to maybe a 2 at the most. Riding is so much more enjoyable now.I didn't bother strapping it down, I just throw it on the seat and then into the saddlebag when I'm done with it. It doesn't move around on me at all with the rubberized grip it has on the bottom. If you're on the fence about getting one of these, do your butt a favor and just buy it...it will thank you later!

I got this for my 2023 BMW K1600GTL. I bought the bike in the spring of 2023 before a long planned weekend adventure with friends that I ride with which all have goldwings. Even with the comfort of the GTL, there were times where I had to get creative and stretch from time to time as my butt would get sore after being on the bike for several hours. The guys I ride with who have goldwings HIGHLY recommended getting the Airhawk as they all seemed to have them (I just never noticed all these years....). Anywho, here I am. Fitment is perfect for my seat, almost as if it were 100% designed for my bike. Adjusting the air pressure is crazy simple, don't need an air compressor or anything... I adjusted it per the instructions and I think I found my happy place. I admit, I haven't gone for a ride yet due to SNOW AND CRAPPY ROADS since I purchased the airhawk, but just sitting on the bike and moving around on the seat, I can already tell that this thing is comfortable. Can't wait for my first long distant ride this spring! And if I find anything wrong or anything negative about this seat cushion, I'll make sure to come back and add to this review.UPDATE! I was able to put about 400 miles on the bike in the past 2 weeks or so and HOLY cow, the Airhawk is amazing. I got the air pressure right where it needs to be and it literally doesn't take much air to have an impact on your comfort. My butt hasn't been this comfortable on a motorcycle since I've started riding 18 years ago. No soreness or discomfort to speak of. 100% improvement.

Excellent product. This my second Air Hawk - I bought the first one 12 years ago and it still works fine, but it looks in hard shape. They are still a little pricey, although the price hasn't changed in all that time.
