I bought other product by this company and liked them a lot but this one did not hold the material at all. The words in the back are so tiny I had to use a strong magnifying glass to read it? !

I was working on a stair project and needed to glue lamanate panels to the stairs. This adhesive does it's job. The treads stuck, and the trim is also firmly glued. My only issue was the pakaging/tube. First, you need to cut the tip deep, deeper than I have cut on other tubes of construction adhesive. I didn't cut the opening wide enough on my first tube and it jammed up so much that I had to throw it out after using on 1/3 of the contents. On the second tube, the pointed nozel poped off half way through glueing trim. It made a mess, and then I had to finish the detail work with the raw opening. So, the adhesive works well, but if you choose this one, take your time prepping. Make sure you have a wide opening on the tube, and jam that tip on hard. I'd recomend using some duct tape to make sure it stays in place. Also, I had some oozing from some of my seams that were easy to clean up. The adhesive activates when it is pressed into place, so the oozing was easy to cut and peel off the trim and wallpaper.

Afix is a reliable, high-quality adhesives and sealant brand. This construction adhesive is about as good as it gets. Smooth, controllable flow. Attention to detail with the resealable tip keeping the pot life responsive for say a week or so. Reduced overrun over between applications.Good stuff. I've been choosing Afix over big box stores when I have time to plan the job. Delivery has consistently been in

Until I got my hands on Akfix 510, I had a cabinet full of different construction adhesives and sealants in my shop, but Akfix 510 has eliminated the need for most of them. We put this adhesive-sealant through its paces over the past couple of weeks. We used it to hang paneling, repair a porch railing, reframe screening for a screened in back porch, refinish a laundry-room counter top, install vinyl molding, and a dozen other jobs. In the past, we would have employed several adhesive-sealants to do these jobs, but Akfix 510 did them all.Akfix 510 works at a lower temperature than most. Itβs viable in temperatures as low as 46 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 86 degrees Fahrenheit. It cures faster than most of those specialized adhesives we had been using, producing a solid bond in as little as 20 to 25 minutes, and is cured in 24-hours. Wood, plastic, metal, ceramic, whatever material you need to bond together, Akfix 510 will do the job.Although this adhesive is environmental and human safe, I still advise you to use gloves when using it because it is tough as nails to get off your skin. The bottom line is that weβre sold on Akfix 510 and will recommend to everyone that uses adhesive-sealants. At $11.00 for a 10.5 ounce tube, itβs a little more expensive than many adhesive-sealants, but itβs well worth the money.

I unfortunately received one of the tubes nozzles broken and unusable, but luckily was able to reuse the other one. At first I was skeptical but once cured it had a firm hold and still somewhat flexible. Like most "thicker" tube adhesives I experienced some leakage out of the bottom of the tube which caused my auto caulk gun to not stop when releasing the trigger, it was stuck to the plunger piece which caused a mess the first time around. cleaned up and resumed with caution. If you don't have to use the whole tube, it keeps just fine for at least a week in my experience.

I liked that I had the correct equipment in the house to use it. It probably would help when you order it, it will need some tools to use.

I have neither opened nor tried to apply this two- pack adhesive as yet. It arrived yesterday, 10/ 11/22. The top shows a 8/21/21 expiration date. The tube feels very firm as if it has already hardened. My plan is to reset several loose kitchen tiles, in high traffic areas, and a loose garden step. I will update this review after the projects are complete. Only two stars because it is potentially what Iβm looking for for my projects based on description.
