I was impressed with the sound on the first of these pickups I purchased. After installing the second one, found it to be non-functional. Two soldering connections had broken. The wires are very small and break. Poor soldering connections. Not durable at all.

Ottimo prodotto, montato e testato su Cigar Box Guitar, un tributo alla Gibson Les Paul, suono pieno e con presenza, eccezionale la costruzione e qualità dei materiali. Unico accorgimento, ho dovuto montare un filo a massa dal potenziometro del tono per evitare i rumori di fondo che si creano per la mancanza del filo a massa.

Considering the price, this is a great pickup. I installed it into a 3-string CBG I was making. I have no knowledge of how to wire a guitar, but all the wiring's already done for you in this set up. All you have to do is drill the holes and screw in the screws. Sounds great on both clean and distortion channels. Definitely worth the price!

While it may have been overkill, it sounds great and the tone control adds greatly to the flexibility of the sound output.
