I have a basement refrigerator and one upstairs. I wanted ice in both of them. This T solved the problem and took all of five minutes to install.

A friendly reminder-you need to be supper innovative to make this fitting to work. In my case, i installed it for under-sink filter. To my surprise, it leaked in all three ports. There two plastic tubes where the both sleeves twisted and cut into the tubes. There is one copper tube, which appears no twist but still leaked. I had to go to Home Depot buying two new plastic sleeves and inserts that fit the body well. By changing sleeves and adding inserts, there is no leak anymore. For the copper tube, I found another sleeve of different brand, replaced the original one, the leakage stopped.I think the design is flawed. Its sleeve is tapered on both sides. When you tighten the nut, it doesn’t push the sleeves evenly. All my new sleeves had flat-end on one side and tapered one on the other, which make it easy for the nut to grab.Another problem in this design is that it doesn’t have the inserts making it unsuitable for plastic tubes

I Bought this for a compressed air project I was working on with some 1/4in brake line. It connected great, no leaks. Metal tends to be unforgiving so just make sure everything is straight and lined up before you tighten it down and you should be fine.

Worst compression fitting I've ever used. I tried the cheep way and got cheep crap. I'm no rookie to this game. The ferrules are crap, no center support for tubing to push against and keep ferrules aligned properly. There]s nothing better than a swedgeloc fitting. Spent 2 days waiting so I wouldn't have to drive to town to get one and four days later I'm driving to town to get one that was worth using. Nuf said!

I ended up not using. I just used the nut from this on another fitting and tossed this one. But I'm sure it would have been fine.

I used this to hook a second refrigerator with ice maker into one water line. Perfect fit on all ends. Solid brass will last much longer than galvanized fittings.
