I purchased this for my 1973 Mercedes Benz because the original antenna no longer extended. The replacement antenna extended once and will not retract. You can hear the motor grinding but nothing happens. I can't return the antenna because it will not fit in the original box. I ended up installing the antenna as a "fixed" antenna in the extended position. I would like to get get a refund, but don't know how. I would not recommend this product.

Was easy to install, works great. Goes up and down. Beats buying a mercedes one for an arm and a leg. Looks factory. The grommets fits perfect and there was a ton of them in the package to pick from
