Cheap fake leather, weak, uncomfortable soles, cheap metal for the buckles. All expected if it were less expensive. Not at all worth $100. $50 makes more sense.

The photo looked like a softer leather but these are really hard and look cheap. The rivets on the inside have rust all over them. The inside of the shoe has zero padding whatsoever. The outside of one of the boots had scuffs on it. And the soles look like you would easily slip while walking. I decided to spend the extra money thinking that I’d get a great pair of boots but these are something I wouldn’t even spend $40 on at a party city. $90 should get you a pair of real, nice boots. Not costume quality ones.

Do not buy these if you want a wearable boot.The leather is super thin. Tightening the buckles would tear the leather. The buckles themselves are also extremely cheap. The metal is so thin - they are decorative buckles used on babydoll clothes - not real buckles made to tighten boots that are going to be worn. The black dye on the leather is coming off - stained my pants and hands while trying them on.These didnt last while trying them on- would definitely not last wearing them out in public.I didnt expect them to be a $400 pair of custom boots, but for $99 i would expect them to be at least functional - these were made using the absolutely cheapest material on the planet that could somewhat resemble footware ling enough for them to take a picture of. Do not buy unless you want to simply dress a mannequin in a store window, and even then i bet the mannequin would complain if you did.

At first I was skeptical, because the leather is thin and so are the soles. However, I could immediately smell that it was real leather. Very pliable, in fact and sharp looking.They fit a little snug in some places, but seem to be wearing-in (like any shoe). And the 5 buckles per boot make it easy to adjust to the best fit.The soles are thin, but seem to be very durable, high-density rubber. This part is also more comfortable because it is slightly pliable.All together, it is a great boot for less than $150. I wouldn't wear them all the time, but it is great for Cosplay, Renaissance Fairs, and such.
