I was hesitant to buy this based on the complaints about the build quality and stability, but it was honestly built fairly well. Sure, it might be wobbly or uneven, but I am a very weak disabled woman and I was still able to straighten things out by hand and stabilize it.It was very easy to put together. My only complaint is that the box was big enough for it to already be put together, and there were so many styrofoam flakes everywhere, it was a huge mess. But once it was together and I manually straightened it out, it was absolutely perfect.It felt impossible to find a fire pit grate at this affordable price, so I'd say the value is HIGH. It holds the logs really well, it feels very sturdy, it's the perfect weight, and functions exactly as advertised.I'm not sure what there is to complain about, this is a really high quality fire pit grate. If you're a responsible owner and you keep it covered and protected when not in use to shield it from the elements, it shouldn't rust or have any issues at all.It feels and seems very high quality. I have it set inside my Hampton Bay 32" fire pit and it fits perfectly. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

This thing is great! This solved my very smoky and difficult to keep lit fires in my firepit. This elevates the logs/fire and allows air to circulate through the bottom - keeping the fire strong and reducing smoke. This is the best $50 spent! I've had this for over 1 year now and seems to hold up to use and weather.I didn't care for the tongs, there are better ones out there.

I bought this to keep the burning logs off the ground in my brick firepit. I thought for sure it would be flimsier but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Then I thought for sure it would rust after the first rain, but it's held up really well. We've had some monster fires where I was sure the screen would deteriorate, but nope, it took the heat no problem. I would order this again.

28" diameter is perfect for my 30" ring. Mesh conveniently keeps kindling and embers from falling through prematurely. Height allows ample airflow to fuel a hot fire with complete combustion for minimal smoke. Mostly fine ash collects in the water heater drain pan below for easy cleanup. Recommended!

This grate was simple to assemble, fits perfectly, reasonably priced, and improved our fire significantly! The airflow it allows and the space that it covers made for a beautiful fire in our fire pit. Very pleased!

I got this for my outside fire pit. Fits perfectly for 28” diameter which I have. Super easy to assemble and looks solid. The only thing could be much better is supporting legs, they are made of pipe. I will make the new ones from solid steel. Is this grate will last? Time will tell.
