These hemostats are clearly made with utility in mind. They are not precision, and appear to be hand burnished. But, they work well for holding cleaning patches, the head of a cotton swab, pins and other small items. The tips are small enough to easily fit into grooves while cleaning firearms or other items with similar features.

I ordered these hemostats to have something less bulky than typical long nose pliers, but with more gripping strength than tweezers. The hemostats are great to fill that role. And while I didn’t need a dozen of them, the $19.99 price for twelve is very reasonable and this way I can have a bunch on hand in different tool boxes, sewing kit, medical kit, etc.I’m not a medical professional, but to me the hemostats look well made and durable. They open and close easily without any slop or play in the pivot joint, and they can be firmly locked closed when needed. Overall, they’re a very handy tool to have on hand.
