The flywheel turned out to have a factory defect - the mounting holes weren't aligned properly - had to drill new ones. Better to avoid this item.

The flywheel fits onto the engine but the holes for the clutch assembly to install are slightly off. There is no way to assemble the clutch. The part is the correct number but it will not work because of the flaws. The holes can't be re drilled. The actual Ford part is unavailable as well. This needs to be returned.
