I hate it when I review an item, and the review vanishes. lol Ok... Take 2.This is an awesome item! it has 4 air ports, and is as quiet as any other air pump I've used. It's very functional and versatile. The battery lasts quite a while (I left it running while I left the house for quite some time and it was still running when I got back.)The only draw back that I can tell is you can't adjust the pressure of each individual lines. If you put the pressure on like, 5, then all 4 ports will be at that pressure, which isn't too big of a deal, that's why there's restrictors, right?Anyway, by the time I got around to installing this pump, my 2 remaining fish had passed away so I didn't actually end up installing it, but I did put it through the paces and checked it out fairly well.and....I'm impressed.I recommend this product!

What I like: This sleek little pump from Aqua is quiet and capable of running a long time, easily over 12 hours continuously, on a single charge. An intermittent mode allows a charge to last even longer. Its IPX68 housing means you don't have to worry about it getting splashed if you're using it to keep your live bait fresh on the boat. Airflow is adjustable to six levels, and it can run one, two, three, or all four ports at a time. Plenty of airline tubing and four air stones are included.What could be improved:The main issue I have with this pump, and the reason I docked a star, is the charging mechanism. The standard for phones and other small low-voltage portable electronics these days is a USB-a to USB-c cord, of which I have dozens, in different lengths. I rarely go anywhere without one these days.They came SO CLOSE to getting it right! While the wall end of the charging cord is a USB-a plug, the pump end is a cylindrical plug that doesn't fit any other of the many small rechargeable devices I have. The cord is only 10 inches long, meaning that it can't be charged from most outlets without leaving it dangling on the wall. If I'm using it plugged in, it needs to be right by an outlet. If I lose this tiny cord, I might as well throw out the pump, too.Lastly, the silicone cover for the charging receptacle, on which the IPX68 rating no doubt depends, is very hard to open without damaging it. It's the narrow end of the cover that is free, but the groove it sits in is too narrow to get a finger nail into. What works for me is, while holding the pump in my left hand with the narrow end away from me, applying pressure with my left thumb to the silicone cover and gently drawing it back till the free part lifts up enough for me to get my right index fingernail under it.

Great for transporting minnows. My husband and I enjoy ice fishing and boat fishing. We use a cooler for our minnow bucket when ice fishing and we are able to keep the minnows aerated during transition as well as while on the lake. It has more than enough airflow to keep the minnows healthy. It’s easy to operate and has plenty of flexibility with the multiple options for the number of air lines you want operating as well as the intensity of the bubbles. I like that it has inline check valves. We don’t need a flood in the back seat of the truck if something happens.It’s really quiet compared to the others we own. It is also a much better value overall than our others. It is solid construction and the charging port has a well sealing cover. Overall it preforms very well and I think we will use it more than our other portable aerators. Just because of the flexibility of being able to aerate multiple minnow buckets at the same time in the fish house so everyone can have their own bucket with healthy, lively minnows and the water is slower to freeze when aerated. Great for fish!

I recently tried the AQQA 8W Battery Powered Aquarium Air Pump, and I really appreciate its features. The ability to independently control 1-4 outlets is fantastic, and the pump is rechargeable, which is a huge plus. With 6 power settings, I can choose exactly how much air I need.My only complaint is that the cord they send is extremely short, which can be a hassle since I intended to run it constantly. The adapter-style hookup is a bit outdated, and the cord is only about 6 inches long, making it tricky to find a suitable spot for it. However, it does come with plenty of air hose and nice big air stones, plus a hookup that prevents water from flowing back into the line.Overall, it does the job well, but even on the max setting, it doesn’t put out as much air as my previous pumps. If I reduce it to two ports, it gets stronger, but that defeats the purpose of having multiple outlets. Despite these drawbacks, the price point is fairly affordable which makes it a great deal. I’m very happy with this air pump!

The pump itself seems pretty good, but the non standard USB power cable is extremely short at around a foot long, which made it unusable for me until I modified the cable extending it's length with a extra USB donor cable I had. Would be five stars if it came with a 2-3 foot long cable.

Amazingly quiet! I am NOT disappointed. I didn't realize this was battery operated when I ordered I just took the charging cord and plugged it in next to my tanks and use it that way. I got the 4 outlet and this works like a beast and is the typical very quiet sound that I have come to expect using this brand. It is cool to be able to power each air line separately. When I pulled the air line from the bag it was gritty to the touch but a quick rinse in the sink took care of that. there was lots of airline and the hardest thing about setting it up was getting the airline over the little connection post. I wanted to wait a few weeks to do a review to see how it holds up well it is still very impressive. Would def buy again
