So far so good! And it is really quiet. I can honestly say it is quiet. The only trouble I had was fitting the tubing over the stainless steel valve so I just took a heat gun to the tubing. Got it hot and then it slipped over perfect so yes, I recommend this. It really is quiet. That’s what I was going for.

This by far the best aquarium air filter I've purchased. I bought a couple of other air filters and compared them. This one is the quietest, and the 5w model is more than adequate to supply air for my 75 gl tank.

I was in need of a new air pump to power one of our filters so I gave this one a try.-It came in well packaged and in great shape.-Set up was very simple and straightforward.-It suctioned to the side of the tank very well and has stayed there no problem.-It has a silent operation, which with some of these is hit or miss.-While it does say powerful I have had smaller ones that put out more air than this. I mean they were a LOT louder but more powerful. The small one does not have a way to adjust the airflow.Overall it is doing a good job “running” 1 double sponge filter but I really can’t see it doing any more than that.

They call it a air pump, but it should actually be called a blower. It has two outlets, but I sliced three airstones onto it and it's blower like crazy. So much so, that I periodically have to reconnect the check valves. Because the air pressure is so strong, it disconnect from the hose. I've had plenty of air pump over the year's, but I never had one to be so powerful as this one!Buy w/confidence if you're ever in need of a whisper quiet, powerful air pump that can handle whatever you throw at it with ease!

Initial Review — I will write another review after I have had the pump in service for a year or more.New out of the box: OUTSTANDING! Amazing! I love it!This pump delivers huge amounts of air at pressures high enough for any home aquarium I have seen. It is QUIET — VERY QUIET.I am using the pump on a 55 gallon aquarium with air stones at a depth of 17 inches. I have the device placed a few inches above the top of the aquarium.The push-button air flow adjustment is not a gimmick. There are 3 levels of flow, and this is very functional. I’d say it is necessary for many installations because when the pump is placed on high, it delivers more air than my tank can handle — and that is from just 1 of the 2 outlets. You will find that having an extra bleeder valve to lower pressure will be helpful.The included instructions are actually USEFUL! When was the last time you heard anyone say that?I am so impressed with this air pump that I can honestly say it is the best I have ever used, and I have been keeping fish since the 1960’s. Let’s hope I say the same thing a year from now.Buy one — You will heave a sigh of relief if you have used noisy, low-grade units in the past.

I've had it running for only a week and a half and I must say, it's the best aquarium air pump I've owned so far, as I've tried countless pumps! I'm running two air stones in a 120 Gal. tank with the lowest setting and there are plenty, I mean plenty of air bubbles out of each air stone! (No need for a higher setting!) Not only a powerful air pump but so quite you don't even hear it!Now, it's supposed to be more durable with a copper wire motor! We'll see how long it lasts! (I'll type a review in the future.)But as of now, I am very happy with the AQQA 10 watt air pump!

Updated: After a few months of usage, the pressure is gone! DON"T BUY. There are better options out there.The cons: The product is very big and bulky. I don’t feel it is providing that much more power over the regular pumps.The operating buttons are not intuitive as there is a single button for everything (given the size, would have been better to have better control)The positive: low noise and fairly nice looking form (only too big)
