Just set up an aquarium for fish and turtles. This will be the turtle basking spot. It looks beautiful in the water. It comes with fishing line glued to its bottom attached to a suction cup. I found it best to wrap the fishing line around the nub on the suction cup and then secure with a small rubber band so it would stay in place better, otherwise it floats as far as the tether of the fishing line will let it go.

I wanted to give it five stars but the fishing line and section cup were confusing. My turtles kept getting their little legs caught in it so I had to take it off and just let it float around the tank and they like it just fine.

I got this product for my albino frog to have more land in the aquatic tank. It floats as expected. My tank has a very weak filter so the tether to the suction cup wasn’t necessary and would end ups getting tangled in my live plants. I cut the string off of it since it was not working with my set up. I see with a large filtration system that you want it to float all willy nilly. My frog seems to approve and she’s on it just as frequently as the other floatation ramp I have. It doesn’t seem to hold algae too so cleaning its t necessary with prolonged use.

No suction power.String is simply glued to tiny floating fake wood.Turtles cannot get on it nor stay on it if placed. Simply ineffective because it is not stable enough.It's a cute bummer.
