Nice sounds, enough texture to get good brush sound. Coating is pretty durable having withstood seven months of weekly two hour rehearsals and four concerts.Last week I did put a couple of dents in two tom-tom heads when playing FF at the end of a song.

If you want a warm, fat tone, this is that drum head. Tuned high or low, these have a nice feel and play-ability.
