Got this to install/enable TPM2.0 capability for our arguably antique ASRock H97M Pro4 motherboard running Win 10 which was not otherwise compatible with Win 11. Plugged right in at the PCB edge adjacent to the last expansion slot. I updated the BIOS to 2.10C, enabled the Boot Security Option, turned off CSM and formatted a new SSD to NTFS + GPT to Install Win11 to get it all to work. Windows complained my CPU (an i5 5675C) was not compatible (it's on the latest list as good) but I was able to install Win11 without issue anyway. spent much time online researching what I had to do without a clear indication it would work, but work it did.

Can confirm this meets the TPM 2.0 requirements to upgrade to Windows 11 on and ASRock B360M Pro4 Motherboard. No issues at all technically. Mechanically the board is a little long and I had to move a video card into another slot to make use of this. No big deal either, three minute fix.

I have an ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard. Long story short I was under the gun to turn a 2017 crypto rig into a work machine and it needed Windows 11. It would've cost a bit to put in a new MB/Processor combo that could run Windows 11 (this MB does not support an Intel processor that is Windows 11 ready natively). I dropped it in, the MB saw it, ran it, Windows 10 started, I upgraded to Windows 11 without a hiccup and everything is swell. I see some people saying they needed a certain BIOS for this, but I did not. With this MB though there's a Legacy Compatibility mode somewhere I had to turn off so it would run a true UEFI boot firmware for Windows 11. If you don't it kind of runs both UEFI and an older BIOS style simultaneously. In that default mode it won't let you format the disk to GPT if you need to during a new OS install. It has to be ONLY running UEFI to do that, I found. That was more difficult to realize than dropping this module in to get TPMS 2.0 ... and unrelated.TL:DR - dropped it on an ASRock H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard and it worked with no extra steps needed

I have a 4 year old IBUYPOWER tower PC with an ASRock Z390 motherboard. The computer came with Windows 10 and I decided to upgrade to Windows 11, but the upgrade advisor said my PC was not eligible as it did not have a TPM 2.0 module in it. I purchased this module and installed it in less than 10 minutes. Booting back up, I went into the bios and could see that it had recognized the module so rebooted and was able to do an upgrade to Windows 11 without any problems at all. This module has been completely troublefree and the system has run perfectly.I absolutely recommend this product if you need to add TPM 2.0 to your ASRock system!

CONFIRM YOUR BIOS WILL SEE THIS DEVICE!!!This device only works if your BIOS can read it. In my case my ASRock H97M Anniversary bios couldn’t so it didn’t help make my system Win 11 compatible (this was the only thing holding me up).Not sure how many boards this will actually work on but can’t knock the device for my lack of research .

To make this work on the Z97 Fatal1ty, I had to update the firmware to 2.60a, but afterwards the BIOS recognized the TPM right away and I was able to install Windows 11.(Note that the latest version available on the ASRock website is 2.60 and it will NOT recognize this TPM, so you'll have to find the "a" revision floating around the internet somewhere. Good luck!)

FrustratingThis is an absolutely positively no way reflects on the seller at all. The manufacturer however, I am beside myself to save a mouth full of expletives. Before purchasing this piece I contacted The manufacturer directly, they said that this was the exact one for my board. We checked, which re-checked, then we checked again and they said yes this is absolutely the correct module for my TPM on my main board. I said does it require special drivers, special software, or anything special at all? The answer was no. That’s what I thought, since it’s a piece of hardware it should already work with the system. I put it onto my main board and nothing would start, I took it off my main board and it worked perfectly. So I put it on just in case I thought I did something wrong and it shut my stuff down again. This is the second Main board I have purchased from this manufacturer and I am now convinced I will never ever under any circumstances purchase their main boards again. Every time I have sought assistance I have been given bad information. Do yourself a favor if you’re looking for a TPM module, and sure you find one that is already built into the board that does not require you attach something to a “header.”
