Wow, I was amazed at the range considering the obstacles, I was hoping I could use these as an intercom between from inside our home to inside a metal storage building outside, the distance between the 2 units was roughly about 80 feet and the signal needed to go thru an inside wall, the outside wall of our home and into a metal storage building and it worked good !I thought I'd have to have the outside unit in the window of the metal storage building to get the signal but was surprised it still worked even when I walked away from the windows.I like that they are rechargeable battery powered so can still work during a power outage, and I can have a power bank in the storage building as back up power if needed.I also like that it has a "call" feature to make the unit ring to let you know the other person is trying to contact you, so if I am busy in the metal building my wife can "call" me from inside the house easily instead of hollering out the front door or having to use a cell phone.Also the strap makes it easy to carry the unit with you if you will be going in other areas of your home where you might not hear someone calling if you left it in one room.

First off, these are adorable. They come with individual charging cord and strap. We love to bring these when we go camping because we don’t need them plugged in the whole time.
