For a minimalist discontinued cartridge, it sounds and plays very well. It has the convenience of being pre-mounted in a universal headshell. I would recommend this cartridge as a step up from the AT3600L. Although both cartridges share the same body, you can upgrade your AT3600L by installing an ATN91 replacement stylus.
