This is what any gardener should have when planting in ground whether the ground is clay like, hard, rocky, root filled or compacted soil. I have used these authors over a dozen times already. Florida soil is about half sand, gritty shells and coral and half baked dirt. these Auger tools are easy to use and clean. Corded or cordless drill compatible, these heavy duty auger bits work great.The sizes are perfect for new plants, bulbs and fully rooted plants. I can see planting as a relaxing, calming endeavor instead of a grueling battle to make a hole for a plant. Surprisingly inexpensive for sturdy, high quality tools.

I wished I bought this attachment(s) earlier in my life. It would have make planting things much easier. It’s easy to attach to the drill and it powers through the dirt with ease. I love my set.

Bought these to use on my outdoor patio to make stakes for our standing lamp. The grounds a bit tough and is full of rocks.Using these I was able to get though majority of the rocks and clear up the holes much faster than by hand with my small garden shovel.I would definitely recommend these to a DIY guy or gal!

The only issue I have is I had to sharpen it since dull it wouldn't drill through dry dirt with little to no clay. After sharpening I was able to speed up and complete a few projects.

Used to drill the holes in the ground for planting tulip bulbs. Our ground was dry and hard. We had to sharpen the point and wait for rain to loosen up the soil. Then it worked good.

I love that there are multiple sizes! These attachments make bulb planting so easy. We were able to plant well over 100 bulbs in less than 2 hours. Make sure your drill batteries are fully charges! And it really goes fast if you have one person drilling & another person dropping the bulbs in the holes. We filled then all in when we were totally done planting. It's a great tool!!
