It's actually faux leather and was a bit big for my shifter knob (2006 Silverado 1500 wt 5 speed) I wrapped tape around the knob first to get correct fit and it came out not bad. Look and feel is better than stock.

I didn't know what to expect, but this transmission shifter cover is excellent. It was easy to install and it appears the material is of quality.

My original leather wasn’t holding up to all my hand sanitizer use so I got this to protect my shift leather and improve the look. My car has a black interior with red lacing so this works perfect. The only pain was stitching it on… it was probably the layout of my car since I just couldn’t see the holes. I loosely stitched all the holes then pulled tight. It took finesse but worked.

Quality seems pretty good. Looks nice. But trying to sew it on when the seam is between the gear shift and the dashboard is very difficult. I ended up holding it in my hands and sewing it extremely loosely and then trying to put it on and tighten up the lace. I haven't finished it yet, because you have to get in some really awkward positions to sew it in place. Probably would not have purchased had I realized how difficult this was going to be. First world problem for sure.
