Installed this over a year ago on my 22 trail, I was skeptical about just tape holding it on but so, far, no issue. Great fit, super easy install. Holds up through touchless carwashes.

Looks great on our 4Runner and covers where we were getting the chips in the hood. Love the addition of the lights! Only problem was there were no directions on how to run the wires and where to connect them. Ended up going to YouTube to find out where I can hook them up.Overall very happy with our purchase.

The videos and instructions for attaching the LightShield to the hood are great—installing the guard itself is straightforward. However, the wiring instructions are lacking. The manual just says, "Connect the red wire to the marker light circuit. Connect the black wire to vehicle ground"—that’s a direct quote. And that's all the help you get for the most challenging part: the wiring. No pictures, no additional guidance on their website.It took me 15 minutes to install the guard on the hood (after letting the LED strip flatten out overnight). However, I’ve now spent three hours searching the internet for wiring advice that doesn’t involve a fuse tap.AVS, feel free to respond to this review with more detailed wiring instructions, and I’ll happily give you another star.That said, the product quality looks good, and I’m sure I’ll be satisfied once I figure out the wiring.

Super easy install, it’s basically just for aesthetics, but it looks cool in my opinion. Trust me, you’re not going to be disappointed. It’s super flush, low profile and fits perfectly. It Adheres well and feels “permanent” the shield is very flexible so it very easily contours to the body lines. Buy it.

Arrived in a short time box in excellent condition. Read the instructions carefully and only go a far as the alcohol wipes. No need to use the cleaning pad as it will remove your clear coat. This hood guard is slim sleek and adds a touch of flair to the look of my 13 4Runner Limited. Here’s to joe jig that it lasts for a while.

This fit perfect on my 2020 TRD 4Runner. Heres my take on it.PROs: Its a matte black finish and on my TRD black runner adds a stealthy aggressive look to it especially when incorporated with the hood scoop. The Raptor light led strip is bright and very noticeable during day and night and it definitely turns heads.CONs: The directions that come with it is trash and too small to read. They dont explain really how to wire it well to your vehicles DRL or Headlights. I wired mine straight to my fuse box to the 10amp headlight fuse. The 3M tape is weird so I would suggest you clean your hood very well with alcohol before applying it. Give adequate pressure on it and too my surprised mine is holding on very secured and well. The LED strip on mine was a tad longer then the space it fits in but I was able to make it fit flush by making the wire hole bigger. Ive gone thru auto car washes with it and no problems holds well.VERDICT: Overall I highly suggest it. Its not that expensive and it does give your runner a more aggressive look to it. As I stated earlier the instructions sucked however still Im very pleased with mine. Hope this helps!
