I like the tube. Seems well-made. Looks good. The sock is lacking. Would be nice if the sock had separate sleeves for each rod section.

These tubes are literally cheap plastic. I went out on a limb in ordering them and was disappointed upon getting them in my hands. I usually order Clear Creek fly rod tubes and will definitely stick with them from know on.

Did not have the option to cancel. Request to cancel was rejected multiple times and they shipped it anyway to a location that I would no longer be at and there was no option to re-route. Otherwise, it is a great product.12 ounces vs. 30 ounces for a PVC tube helps when taking on a flight as it keeps weight down by nearly 3 lbs. for 2 cases. I stood one one with my full 180 lbs and it barely flexed. Very strong. Dimensions are 1.2 inches higher than advertised so it would not fit in my luggage or case however so I will return these.

My 9 foot 4 piece fits perfect in this tube, only issue the sock it comes with, is that ! A sock no individual rod sections . Tube is sturdy and screw cap fits well. As for waterproof I don’t know as I am not going to submerge tube in water. If I did it’s a fishing rod lol it’s suppose to get wet.GREAT TUBE. THANK YOU

Nice rod tube…light and very nicely machined threaded end cap. Included rod sock is not slotted for rod sections…but this is a minor pick as the tube is excellent and long enough for my 8 wt with a fixed fighting butt.

The rod tube seems to be well made. The components are nicely machined and the tube is smooth. The overall quality seems very good. The only issue is that the cap has an o-ring I assume to make it water resistant. The o-ring OD is 50 thousands smaller than the mating ID and it does not feel as though it seals on any surface. As a result I do not expect this to keep water out if it is submerged. This is a minor issue but it would have been a perfect tube had the design actually sealed.
