…..and well put together.I would have preferred a bit longer case, as I have a lot of 8 to 9 foot rods, but this works fine with my shorter stuff.Like a lot of neoprene products, it smells a bit bad at first, but that disappears with time.

I like how the rod cover is made of of neoprene vs nylon which seems to always snag while putting the rod in. I ordered the vented neoprene but I'm not sure how much it will vent as it looks sealed. The size I ordered is a large and it fits my 7' spinning road with ease. The rod cover has an elastic strap to attach to the reel in order to keep the cover on and it has a piece of Velcro on the outside for identification (not needed)The stitching and material seems well made and the price is good.

This is my first neoprene rod cover, and it won't be the last! This is just a better material as it does not snag/catch on anything, it just glides over whatever. Also, because it has some cushioning to the material itself, it will surely do a better job of protecting the rod that is inside. Overall, just no comparison to the typical mesh plastic rod covers; if you buy nicer fishing rods, they deserve a neoprene cover.

This rod sleeve provides good protection for spinning and casting rods. The neoprene material is snag-resistant and will help keep rods secure. Very useful for storage and transport.

Now that I am getting back into fishing, I find that there are a lot of new products to protect your gear when not in use. This rod sleeve is a great example of something I didn't know I needed until I saw it. I got it to protect my baitcasting rod while it was in storage, and especially when en-route to my fishing hole. Since it will be in one piece, and inside my SUV, I also wanted something to protect my vehicle. This sleeve seems to do that nicely. It is made of neoprene and fits nicely. These sleeves, from Aventik, are well-made and fairly priced too. Give them some consideration if you are shopping for rod sleeves.

Received and plan to use with my 7ft 3 Shimano SLX swim bait rod. I have the medium. I own many rod sleeves from 6th sense as well as some cheaper options from Walmart. This sleeve feels like a neoprene, there was a terrible chemical smell when I opened the package. It does feel durable like my 6th sense product but the fit is not as good. This brand doesn’t have a bait caster or spinning option. It’s one size fits all.Overall usable.
