I liked this product because it stopped the aggravating rubbing of the brake pads in the rotor.

Installed, there's a noticeable wobble with the rotor when you spin the wheel which means: 1) The disc is not perfectly round. or: 2) The center ring ringed with the bolt mounts is not perfectly centered. I also noticed that the rotor is not uniformly thick. It was obvious from the reference of the brake pads, which should show no change in the distance from either side and no contact at all every which way when the rotor is true (as it should be out of the box).I was able to confirm that it wasn't merely a bad disc that I got because I ordered the same thing from another seller (not on Amazon) and there were the same problems. I was able to return the one I got from Amazon because it wasn't really used though installed but the other one I cannot return because I rode my bike for a few miles with it, without which I wouldn't have discovered the non-uniformity in thickness as well as the fact that t it quickly went out of true when I only used it for not long and not that heavy. I wasted $40+.Just to be fair, I have another Avid G2 rotor on the front wheel, a 160mm, which is made in Japan. The 140mm for the rear wheel of my road bike that I received from both Amazon and the other seller are both made in Taiwan. It could be the Taiwan-made discs are just not up there quality-wise compared to those made in Japan. So if you're sticking to this brand, try to get the Japan-made discs. But I learned my lesson and I decided to avoid this brand of brake rotors totally.

Es ligeramente más pesado que los g3sc que tenia antes.Se me cristalizaron las primeras pastilla que usé con este disco pero posiblemente no fuera culpa del disco.Por lo demás bien, con sus tornillos para el cambio

I've been using this rotor for about a month on my Fuji CX bike. When I pull my break lever, the bike stops, whether the course is dry or a mud bog. Can't ask much more than that.Note that the rotor comes with the bolt kit, you don't have to buy it separately.

I've been using these rotors for years and love them. Bought a new bike recently and it had another rotor. I hated the way they needed so much pressure to stop. Changed to these and there was a dramatic increase in brake performance. I run XTR brakes with XTR resin pads.

Avid 140mm rotor arrived quickly and complete with 6 mounting bolts. After fitting to hub/bike the rotor required one very small adjustment to get it perfectly straight. Works well matched up with shimano xt brakes.
