V Friction Groove
The V-shaped friction groove of the ATC descender reduces the abrasion of the rope during descent, and is not prone to entanglement of the rope.
Rubber Steel Cable
The ATC descender is designed with a 0.4cm rubber steel cable, which can be easily operated when storing equipment.

Rope Hole
Double-row rope holes can be used for single or double rope. When the double rope is lowered, the two ropes will not be entangled with each other.
Instructions
Place the rope correctly and make sure it is below the V-groove friction groove.
Fold the rope in half and pass through the hole.
Pull the rope to keep the connection space.
Connect carabiner, descender and rope.
Hold the rope by the lower part with your two hands while descending.

Mine ended up being very tough to pull down while belaying. Otherwise its pretty good. There are definitely better belay devices out there.

After I've lost my black diamond atc during a long wall climbing session, I had to buy another one for next sessions. I came on amazon to find a descent atc that would be as safe as big brands ones and I found this one.I've used it since then a couple of times and I can say I'm really satisfied with it.
