I have always used the tried and true “wrap a ball tightly in the mitt” method to break in a new ball glove. The Naqqash Sports Baseball & Softball Mitt Treatments Maple Wood Glove Mallet Break in Tool caught my eye and I thought I would give it a try. Not only does it work well, it is easy to use and looks great on the shelf. It is also easy to customize and manipulate the glove into a variety of shapes to fit different sizes. My Grandkids and their team mates have all been able to achieve the right fit for their specific needs. It is well made and I keep it handy. It is very sturdy and solid. Great product!

As described, this mallet is solid wood. It's comfortable to hold, painted & smooth. It's not overly heavy & it seems to work well. My nephews tested it on an old glove & they're happy to have it. It will be a useful tool to help them break in their new gloves for next season.

It’s nice small bat for breaking in new glove.The new glove was stiff and hard to hold, but when I tapped it, it became much softer. It is a very useful product for those who play baseball constantly.

The finish wasn’t as described. The mallet has what appears to be a plastic shrink wrap finish. The shrink wrap was wrinkled, scuffed/scratched. Also, there was no hang tag or written instructions included.
