These nail pullers are beautifully painted, finished, and shaped. The fancy paint is only on the handle since it wouldn't hold up on the striking and claw surfaces. Nice!I have a conventional cats' paw style nail puller, and these will complement that older one. When pulling nails I start with these new ones since they have a longer range of pull and less of a tendency to gouge the wood surface. The cats' paw will come out when a short pull is needed when a nail snaps at or below the surface since it likes to dig in deeply and pull strongly, albeit for a shorter pull.Having three sizes is especially handy for minimizing gouges to the wood surface.Verdict:Recommended.A nice complement to cats' paw nail pullers.

This is very nice cats paw nail puller set from Bates Choice. This 3 piece set includes an 8" mini pry bar, 10" crowbar and 12" pry bar. If you any demolition work to do around the house or shop, you will not want to be without this set of bars. Whether you need to remove nails out of wood or pry pieces of material apart during demolition, these tools will make those tasks much easier to complete. I am bad about laying pry bars down during demolition so I really like the red color to help the bars stand out so I can quickly locate them.

These are outstanding nail pullers. They are in three convenient sizes and are so much better than using a claw hammer or crow bar. They provide a strong but delicate way to remove a variety of sizes of nails. They also double as a pry bar. The pullers are well made of heavy high quality steel. The finish is good and smooth. The nail remover/pry bar kit I received took me by surprise….but in a good way!!!😃 The quality and finish of these tools were very gratifying!! The set comes with three different length nail removers/pry bars which affords you great flexibility working in open or tight spaces. These tools are surprisingly heavy which makes you feel that they are truly heavy-duty. I don’t think you could harm these tools no matter how tough you use them. The head of these tools has a nail puller end and the opposite side is flat, so you could use it to hammer something back into place. The base of the tool shaft also has a nail puller end and is meant to be used when you need to exert greater leverage on a stubborn nail or fastener. The individual tools are powder coated in a bright red color that helps to prevent rusting and makes the nail pullers very easy to find if you misplace one. The nail puller ends are finely ground to a bright and shiny finish that lets you know these tools are made of very high-quality steel. I don’t think you could go wrong with owning a set of these high-quality tools.😉 You do get a big bang for your buck when you purchase this set!! I found the tools to be easy to use and the shafts of the tools are ergonomically comfortable!! 🚩My overall rating for this set of nail pullers/pry bars is a solid 10 out of 10, due to the superior fit and finish of each of the three units included, the heavy-duty construction, and the very well-applied powder coat finish on each tool. They work great, and I can’t imagine anyone not being pleased with their purchase of these tools. Buy a set of these and I promise you will not be disappointed in any aspect of the set!!!!😊
