I bought this case because it sounded more convenient than using a charger to charge my phone. When I first received it, I was extremely happy with it. It charged well and is quite durable. Unfortunately, after about 4mths, I started having issues charging the case. By six months in, it was just a very heavy case with no charging capabilities. I do not expect charging cases to last forever, but I had hoped to get a year out of it.

Super anxious about buying this because of the mixed bag of reviews. Battery life is great. It’s a weird type of plastic so it’ll easily slip out of your hand if you don’t have a pop socket or grip on it. Also, when you plug it in to charge it’ll stop charging your phone when the case battery is full which is odd but I’m not complaining. Oh and when it came it was battered pretty bad. Box was dented to hell and the case had marks on it. Had to wipe the case off before putting it on my phone. Over all, not a bad product but not the best either. // edited some time later. This case bugged the hell out of my phone. Brand new iPhone XR. Worked just fine before I put the case on it and now it drops calls, doesn’t sent messages, shows me notifications for moisture in my charger port even tho that’s impossible. Maybe I don’t recommend. Kinda risky.

Works great, the port hole for the charger is not great. Very thick but it is a battery case, comes with the territory of having a charger case.

Here is the politely worded email response I sent to them in the ever I was not satisfied with my purchase As I was not here it is:This was a X-MAs gift and I waited and went the long way around so assume I’m past my return window now.Good evening, I ordered a battery pack case for an iPhone XR and it is not working well at all. Before I return/review on Amazon, I am reaching out to you to see what to do. Model I ordered was HIX50B3 but it says HIR50B4 on back ( package also says X001WKQG9H).Issues are as follows.Issue 1: when trying to charge the battery pack case, the lightning charging cable falls out very easily. I have tried authentic apple cables, multiple aftermarket Apple certified cables, and it doesn’t matter. It is like the little side retaining tabs are loose or not sticking out enough.Issue 2: The battery pack will randomly fail to turn on. I have to remove the phone from the case completely and then plug it back in and then it will work. It doesn’t matter the charge percentage of either the phone or the battery pack case. This is my second battery case from this brand. They have the largest batteries of all the cases I’ve looked at. I love that I can charge them simultaneously at night and then never need to plug in my phone all day.The ONLY downside to this case is that it’s not great for protection. It’s a heavy case and it doesn’t go unnoticed, but I’ve gotten used to it. It makes the phone a good amount thicker which makes a challenge for my tiny hands but I love the battery life so I compromise.I can’t say much about this case, but when I got one from the same brand for my iPhone 6s, I dropped it twice and my phone was SHATTERED. However, I did not have a screen protector on that phone so I will share the blame. Now that I have the XR, I got this case and a nice screen protector to save my wallet from having to pay for a new screen.ALSO, the phone syncs and charges when inside the case, but headphones with the lightning plug or adapter DO NOT WORK. Other than that and the weight, I absolutely love the case and would recommend it to anyone who constantly needs to plug their phone in to charge on the go. I can get 2-3 extra charges a day (I use my phone a lot).Thanks for reading! :)
