This slipper-shaped cat bed ended up becoming a competition prize for my two cats. The corduroy exterior looks surprisingly stylish in my living room (not like the eyesore pet beds I've bought before).What I love most is the flexibility - when my cats want to hide, they burrows into the covered section, but when they are feeling social, they lounges on the open part. The self-warming feature has been amazing during cooler evenings - I can actually feel the warmth when I put my hand inside, and my cats clearly appreciate it.Be patient though - it might take time for cats to get used to it. Initially, mines were skeptical and ignored it completely. But after about a week and me luring them with some catnip, they finally gave it a chance, and now my two cats actually compete for who gets to use it! I'm considering buying a second one to restore household peace.Cleaning has been super simple. After an unfortunate hairball incident, I tossed it in the washing machine and it came out looking brand new. Just be patient when it first arrives - mine took about 24 hours to fully fluff up after being vacuum-packed.The only improvement I'd suggest is slightly more padding in the bottom for older pets, but my cats don't seem to mind at all. Definitely worth every penny for the peace of mind seeing them so content!

Cute and cozy bed for our cat. He loves it and we find him snuggled up all the time. Washed very well - put in washer and dryer and came out fluffy and like new.

My little guy is only 6 pounds and he gets cold really fast with the Midwest winter. He loves to be covered up, so this bed is perfect for him. It is really soft and plush.

This cat bed is sort of like a big slipper. The top part does raise up if your kitty wants to (and is able to) slide under.Mine just like the "foot" of the slipper part to lay on.The material is soft and warm with a slightly slippery bottom material.This does NOT wash well.

Could not be happier. The top doesn’t stay up too long but he still loves being tucked in. Purchased the large and seems like a good fit for him.

I have two cats who are always looking for somewhere warm to get cozy or huddle together for warmth. I was looking for something for one of my cats in particular, as she always curls up against my neck at night, and once she’s there, I can’t move!This arrived in a vacuum sealed package and within a few minutes it was fully shaped. I love the corduroy exterior and the inside of this bed is extremely soft and fluffy with grips on the bottom to keep it in place. My cats weigh about thirteen pounds and this one was meant to be for animals up to fifteen pounds. I feel it was just about the right size for my cats, although maybe the larger size would have been even better.I started by keeping it on my bed as that’s where my cats hang out most of the time. Within minutes, both cats were checking it out, but would only lie on the outside and not go in. I’ve tried putting their favourite cat toys inside, but so far they will go in and fetch them, but they are not yet comfortable being fully inside. I’ve been moving it to different spots in the house to see if they will take to it elsewhere. It’s only been a week however, so will see how it goes.There were no cleaning instructions, however, I think it would wash fine and air dry with a simple shake to bring back to shape. I would just use a lint brush to wipe off any fur that accumulates. It is well made with no loose threads and it looks good. I feel the price is fair and at the tine of this writing, there is a 30% off coupon which reduces the price substantially.

I use this for a 13-pound chi-cross. It fits in her 18 by 24 crate and is great for keeping her warm on chilly nights. Very soft and good fill. Not appropriate for a crazed digger (nothing is) but so far so good for us.

I wouldn't say my cat crawls right up inside the bed but she loves sleeping on the bed and often goes to it several times each day when she wants to rest.The anti slip bottom is handy to have and keeps the bed from moving when deployed on a hard surface.This is the larger size bed and can accomodate cats up to 25 lbs according to the manufacturer but ideally this is perfect for smaller cats.The bed itself is well constructed and washable.The top cover can be closed to create a cozy hideout or opened to use as a flat bed.I would have liked to see more padding on the bottom area especially for older cats.Give your cat time to adjust to it.Some like it..some don't....that is just being a cat.Washes up well and fluffs back up.

Nice size for my large ginger cat. Unrolls and puffs up nicely, with a fleece interior that traps the heat. My ginger loves being under blankets and in his cat carrier, so I hoped he would like this bed. The top doesn't really stay up, but is easy for him to scootch his nose to puff it up and enough room for him to circle around. He has checked it out a few times, walked on it and hid one of his toys in it, so I'm confident once he has a couple of days to get used to it I can get the ugly cat carrier out of my living room!
